as far as real estate.. where internationally are some great places to invest? (that speak english or spanish)

Day trading

Day trading is definitely a great way to make huge profits but many people don't know the SEC rules on day trading. The SEC requires that you have a minium of $25,000 in your market account in order to day trade. I would recommend getting a scottrade account set up and using that as your broker to place orders. You can setup a joint account with another account holder and use the combined account balance to create your $25,000 minium balance. I personally bought 2 $10,000 CD's at a 6 month term to have a safe place for $20,000 and the other $5,000 was used for day trading. I've made lots and lost lots doing this so do your research when taking such risk. I've also made large profits in real estate but location and timing play a large part in that. Real estate is more of a long range investment tool and can eat you up if you don't run the numbers right! You have to keep in mind that you're paying interest on your loan, taxes always go up, home owners insurance, and the rent money isn't always on time. A great place to invest internationally is cancun! Great rentals and its always a hot spot!
Mutual funds are composed of various stocks. The mutual fund price is calculated after the close of the market at 4pm each trading day. I would like to know if the stocks in the fund are known, can I use a spreadsheet of the stock prices at a given time during market hours to caluclaute mutual fund price so that I buy or sell the mutual fund or other mutual funds before the close of the market? My 401k only sells and buys funds after the close of the market day at 4pm EST. This will help in timing of trades to increase my account balance. How can I construct this formula without buying a software program? I have access to the Excel program, if this is useful. Thanks

You can't do that. The information is confidential. Or else, all investors will buy what Buffet is buying or selling. You might want to invest in stock market if you prefer frequent trading.

What percentage of my income will be taken as taxes if my full time job is pattern day trading? I know it depends on deductables, write offs, and all of those type of things, but I'm just looking for a "in the neighborhood" type figure. Thanks in advance!

Do u think u can earn from day trading or it is useless

The number one important thing in day trading is keeping out the emotion, you have to know when to take losses and profits, stick with a formula and keep it, and be prepared to have good days and bad,, www.thewallstreethunter.com has good articles on not being 'invested' in your investment.. they also have a really good daily market update that is pretty insightful…

Good luck

If I want to trade in the swingers, do I need to research one by one?
Day trading

Unless you have access to an investment bank research department or a hedge fund, I'm afraid the answer is yes.
Ive recently come across some good courses in trading buying selling etc and would like to give it a shot i dont trust online e-trades or investment firms and would like to get started as a DIY project any helpful hints
Day trading

Anyone with a brokerage account can trade as often as they wish. However, since you "dont trust online e-trades or investment firms", you would need to become licensed, bonded, insured, registered, etc. as a stock brokerage firm. This would involve more than most individuals could afford or have the expertise to accomplish.
Almost all brokerages, including the on-line ones, are licensed, and insured. Having traded for a very long time, I have never had a problem with their service or fairness.
I am interested in day-trading in the stockmarket. What companies offer the best deals?
Day trading

None. Do not day trade. Take this from an experienced investor with a strong background in Finance.

You are never going to get much daytrading and more likely to lose what you have.

Take the investment approach, not day trading.

No Day trading aka gambling. Sure Fire ways only i have a few in mind just want to see whose thinking alike.
Day trading

I would recommend you to do Forex trading as it gives fast returns
Hope it helps

Less money, i'm unsure how to start.

Basically, I'm not up for a big gamble, I want to take twenty dollars and make it fourty.
A friend of mine mentioned day trading, how and where do I start? What's it all about?

Any information or insight would be appriciated!

Hopefully, "20 making 40" is metaphorical … because that will get you nowhere. Before you do anything you need to educate yourself. How, and to what degree, is your choice. Books, classes, on line, workshops, etc…anything will help. I'd recommend an Investment Club. That way you are actively participating and learning at the same time. You may even get away with your 20 dollars (a month) as there is strength in numbers. Ultimately, you'll want to start small, and, as you get more experienced and knowledgeable, try bigger and better. For your first "solo" step, I'd recommend something like Sharebuilder where you can purchase stocks at prices like $4 a transaction…a good way to get your feet wet and see if you like it. Good luck.
