Recently, I saw this London Forex Rush program which gives indicators for the Sterling London intra-day trading.
Tried it out and I'm quite impressed but the usefulness. I only use it as a guide at the moment. But it's created for you to use as a complete system.

There is an alternative. BUT, I wouldn't recommend it.
You could engage in a Carry Trade. Again!! I do not recommend you do this for Day-Trading options or stocks!
You short a currency (the JPY is pretty popular). Just like shorting a stock, you get a credit. Since Forex is not regulated by the same Margin Rules as Equities, you can get 50K for a simply $500 account. With that credit, rather than buying Bonds with a higher interest rate than the rate of the shorted currency (Fed rate is 4.25, so you could get a bond around that rate, which JPY rate is .5%..you profit from the difference) you put that money into your options account. You need to be careful that you leave some room in your Forex account, as you do not want a Margin Call on this. And you need to make sure you monitor the currency market to make sure that the JPY's flat…although if it is dropping, you have the added bonus of making money there too.
I am not suggesting you do this, but just saying that there are possibilities out there. Just don't use this one, as it you need to be aware of what you are doing.
Thank You

However, finding a good opportunity tends to leave at least some cash floating around. Aside from dumping it into a placeholder stock like BRK.B, moneymarket, etc. I am interested in utilizing, to some small degree, daytrading.
Basically:
(1) How is risk managed in security day trading? Forex trading?
(2) Do the few successful traders operate by intuition or determinism?
(3) How wide of a scope to most traders take? Ten stocks? One hundred? All of them? Similarly, how wide of a scope do forex'ers employ?
(4) Is there a way to get a hold of raw market data, outside of the wacky software like eSignal, etc?
Please do not try and pitch a trading system. Thanks.

Market is anticipating the feds not raising interest rates in the near term. Lower or no rates increase usually leads to weaker USD.

- Canadian Dollar (CAD)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
The US Dollar has also gained against the Indian Rupee (INR) and the Russian Rouble (RUB).
The biggest gains as of now have come from a rally against the Japanese currency, so if you're into trading USD, this is where you should continue to see profits over the short to medium term.
I recommend you look at Pound Sterling (GBP) as well as it's been a traditionally strong currency. Include it in your forex portfolio and part of your daily trade.

I manage funds in forex trading, and in my experience, I find that period before the European markets open to be most profitable.
Hope this helps.

Forex market or Foreign Currency Exchange market is one of the biggest trading market in the world with over USD 1.3 Trillion traded in a day. It is drawing attention ever since it is open to Online trading. Forex trading can be very profitable if you take your time to do a proper research, understanding various options and choose a system that works for you. The most used Forex trading system may not be the most suitable for your needs.
There are many different kinds of Forex Trading Systems and you need to know a few facts as mentioned below, before choosing and funding a system.
1. Testimonials: Is there anyone out there who is trying to sell a system and show you testimonials from the people who actually didn't like the system? Highly unlikely. You should do proper research before indulging into a system that is completely new to you.
2. Profit: Do you want to work with a Forex Trading system that breaks even? Why? If you keep the money in your home, you will still break even, then why take all the hassles of setting up an Forex Trading account and do all the work. Really speaking, you should always do some research on how profitable a particular trading system is?
3. Drawdown: The maximum drawdown of trading system is defined as the greatest peak-to-valley drawdown in a trading system’s equity. Maximum drawdown gives us a measure of the survivability of the trading system.
4. Time to profit: The actual time it takes to achieve the results with a particular trading system. You should plan to have a long and profitable relationship with your trading system.
Try to use a trading system that let you open a Demo account so that you can practice and learn about Forex Trading without risking any money.
I have tried many of these systems in my quest to simplify my trading experience. I personally have found FreedomRocks to be the system that has worked for me. I have found no bad information on this system from anybody that has actually used it. I have found many skeptics and bashers but nothing from those that have actually tried at least the free trial they offer.

I am a day trader and often try to derive profit from the disparity in currency rates at various points of time. People who try to make some huge profit can incurr loss using this techniques but if we try to capture small pips then its a winning strategy.
One of the fund Manager of FINEXO suggested me to try this once when i was looking up for high returns. Surprisingly i made huge pips in just 1 hour and thats how i became a Day trader.
Anyways the basic requirements for successful Day trading are:
1. Excellent Command on Technical charts.
2. Look beyond what common man does.
3. Foresightedness
4. Be Different.
5. Good Source of market news and technical charts
6. Ability to draw conclusions from market updates.
If you have these you can very easily succeed here. I am using Finexo charts and updates which are quite accurate and reliable for me. If you have other sources it would be an added advantage.
In other words, is intraday trading more like setting chips on a roulette table?
Also, how much of the future (i.e., to what period of time in the future) is priced in to a currency? Does trading in anticipation of the future (speculation) create severe irrationality in price movements in currency? Is speculation a majority of the force behind currency price levels?
Technical analysis sometimes feels like meaningless, wishful thinking.
Also, how do hedge funds trade currencies? Which market do they go through (directly through banks and central banks?) or do they use the market makers that individual traders use?
What is the most theoretically (and practical) way to go about trading currencies? I don't mind sleeping 3 hours a day for fundamental analysis, I've done it- but am I winning for the reasons I think I'm winning?
