In US, if you want to do day trade you need 25k in your account. Other wise you can do day trade 3 times in 5 business days.

Sharekhan charges 0.1% for day trading (each leg) and 0.5% for delivery based trading.
Short sell positions in the Indian markets need to be squared off on a daily basis as per norms. Day trading charges are applicable for the same.
